Orchid Thai

Great atmosphere, certainly very unique. The food was excellent. The portion sizes are very generous. I had the chicken Pad Thai. Great taste. Their cocktails are also very good as well.
The service is on the slower side. Felt sometimes that the server/ servers forgot our drink orders but overall- I'll recommend going there and I would go back again.

The staff (especially Kashmarie and Powan) were very welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu. Even when short staffed, they were efficient and friendly. The recommended food from our server was brought out hot and delicious. 10/10 would recommend. I will definitely be back with my family

The food was delicious! As good as we heard it would be from the many recommendations we were given. We ordered for a family of 5 with 3 grown boys and the cost, for the amount we received, was well below what it would cost us to go for dinner, and it was well worth it! Traffic kept us from picking it up in a timely way. In fact, we were over an hour late to collect it. The restaurant called twice to check in, concerned that the food would be cold or not as good. I love that! The food was great, even over an hour later. Fantastic customer service! Fantastic food! Totally recommend.

Took awhile before i was attended to, server was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. The outdoor bar and scenery was A1. Would definately visit again.

First time at Orchid Thai. Had good time! I enjoyed my plate of curried noodles with chicken. My friends had the rest of the pics: The pork noodles were sweet and delicious, the pineapple fried rice was sweet and savory; the coconut curry chicken was peppery & sweet! Absolutely delicious. Shaun was our server, him a good yute.

Food was excellent, atmosphere was very chill and very nice. Tables were a bit small given you're supposed to share your food into another dish to eat but it was fine. Prices were reasonable and staff was pleasant, quick, and attentive.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time at Orchid Thai. The food was amazing and the decor was well thought out. I would definitely recommend it.

The Thai mule was excellent. The mojito was overpowering with the alcohol. The crab Rangoon was just ok. The spring rolls were excellent especially with the sauce that came with them. The pork wontons were uninspired and left me dissatisfied with the sauce Very disappointed with the pineapple fried rice the shrimp was cooked well, however we we're disappointed with the flavour that lacked any pineapple substance. Red curry was absolutely well made. I'd come back just for that. Overall the restaurant was gorgeous and we had a great time.

The food was DELICIOUS! The Red Thai Curry (requested spice level - very spicy) was so amazing! The decor is beautiful and my favourite part is the indoor/outdoor section. Highly recommend!

Appetizers were amazing, I got curried noodles wasn't for me, the other stuff was great though. Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Food 8/10

The food was really good. Nice and spicy. If you don't like pepper, ask for mild. The Thai iced tea was also delicious. The service was really great. Friendly, polite staff and lovely atmosphere.

I was looking forward to eating at Orchid Thai tonight and started calling to make reservations from 12pm till 5: 30pm.
When they eventually answered they said that that they were not taking reservations but I could walk in and the wait was 45 minutes. They should state their policy on their website to avoid dissatisfied customer

Food was lovely, authentic in flavour and spices. Beautiful ambiance. If you like thai or SE asian cuisine or want a new experince it's for you.

Great service, ambiance, and very delicious. Every dish was great. Just note that medium spice is very hot.

Very disappointing service and food.
If you love Thai food, I advise skipping.

One highlight was the awesome bartender unreasonably doing ten different jobs because the team was ineffectively assigned. Amazing all the things he was managing in this most disorganized operation.

Owner who saw the chaos was the most disappointing part of the night. Both incapable and afraid to address the disorder that she led.

Needless to say…
My very favorite curry puffs were really terrible over curried empanadas. The doug was too thick and strangely Luke warm in area. Made me think that these where not made fresh but frozen out of a bag.
My sister had the crab Rangoon that one can hardly get wrong and reported that it was terrible.
Ordered the spring roll. Not only did it never come but a wrong order was sent out instead and before it was rectified, we were after if wanted to just have the incorrect dish instead.

I shared I was allergic to shellfish so I want to ensure certain dishes where identified separately in our to go order. Memo was taken to the kitchen yet low and behold later all dishes were brought out mixed up together and unidentified. Even more ridiculous is that no one was able to identified what was in the dishes including the chef. After much investigation, turns out we were yet again given the wrong order.

After waiting over an hour and a half for our take order, we gave up on the tragedy of this experience. If you have food allergies, the disorder of this kitchen will certainly put your life in danger.

On the way out we observed the front desk reaming out guest who came in for dinner telling them that had they spoken to her versed whomever the spoke to when they called, she would have told them not to come because the restaurant was busy. I guess you can say that the observation of this encounter is tell tale of the operations at orchid Thai.

The food and drinks lovely, the wait time wasn’t bad thought the place was a bit small but I later realized that there was an extra seating area. Also a huge shoutout to our server Nick, he constantly checked up on us and gave us some good recommendations. Also the sweet chilli sauce is to die for.

I had the Orchid Thai Pad Thai and it transported me to another dimension.
The service was excellent, the ambiance was impeccable/beautiful outside and inside. Highly Recommended. 5/5
